About

We're one of hundreds of Youth With A Mission centers that dot the globe from the Americas to Pacific & Asia, and from Europe to Africa -- a worldwide family of ministries that for almost five decades has been committed to "telling the Good News to everyone" (Mark 16:15). YWAM uses a wide array of methods including a global university (the University of the Nations), traveling teams, and community development to share Christ's love with a needy world.

YWAM Discovery Bay is an established YWAM center near Seattle, WA which emphasizes missions mobilization and training, intergenerational discipleship, mentoring young leaders, King’s Kids, reaching the unreached, and local community service with cooperative efforts among churches and other organizations.

Discovery Bay Camp and Missions Center is a 15 acre property nestled on a bluff at the northern tip of Puget Sound, overlooking Discovery Bay -- the first inlet discovered by English explorer George Vancouver in 1791 -- and named after his ship. The Camp has a gorgeous view of the Olympic Mountains, a private, pristine beach access, soccer fields, wooded area — and is only four miles from the quaint Victorian town of Port Townsend.

It is close to fishing and hiking; Discovery Bay Golf Course is around the corner; it is fifteen minutes from scenic Hood Canal, and a short ferry ride from Seattle via Kingston. It was formerly a dairy farm, a Bible Camp that began with tent meetings in the 1930s — and now a YWAM center in the Pacific Northwest.
